DUSHANBE, 09.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – In the mountainous heart of Central Asia, modern infrastructure is reshaping regional connectivity. A highway, developed in part through cooperation with the People’s Republic of China, is not only restoring vital transport links across Tajikistan but also strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
As featured in a recent video by CGTN, the upgraded road network has become a symbol of practical collaboration under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. It highlights how shared efforts in infrastructure development can open new opportunities for trade, tourism, and people-to-people exchange between China and Tajikistan.
The video is part of CGTN’s Central Asia Expedition and includes exclusive footage and impressions from Tajikistan’s capital Dushanbe and remote mountain areas such as Darvoz District.
Khovar news agency invites viewers to watch the video and explore how sustainable infrastructure is paving the way for stronger regional partnerships.
