DUSHANBE, 27.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 27, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated the newly built 3-story building of the Khatlon Teahouse in the center of Khorugh.

The construction of this facility in the center of Khorugh began in March 2016 and was completed in June of this year.

The newly built building has a total area of 1,000 square meters in the center of the city.

The Khatlon Teahouse has a modern hotel with 24 bedrooms for guests and tourists.

Now, with the commissioning of this social and service facility, 15 local residents have been provided with permanent jobs.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, visited the teahouse, which was built with national patterns and elements, in the free and pleasant atmosphere of this heavenly nature, on the Panj River, and highly appreciated the creative work of the patriotic entrepreneur.

Here, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, met with 100 orphans and people with disabilities from the cities and districts of the region.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, hosted a festive dastarkhan for orphans and people with disabilities, and they were also presented with memorable gifts. The gifts included clothes, school supplies, sweets, and money.
