DUSHANBE, 05.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 5, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, had a telephone conversation with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Honorable Masoud Pezeshkian.
At the beginning of the conversation, our Head of State and Masoud Pezeshkian exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha.
At the same time, the Leader of the Nation wished the esteemed President of the Islamic Republic of Iran good health and new achievements, and wished all the friendly and brotherly people of Iran peace, tranquility, and continued progress and prosperity.
Continuing the conversation, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran. The President of Tajikistan, expressing satisfaction with the current course of development and expansion of relations between the two countries, particularly emphasized the importance of continuous high-level dialogue.
