DUSHANBE, 08.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – At the Palace of the Nation, after the completion of the meeting and negotiations at the highest level, the Heads of State — Honorable Emomali Rahmon and Honorable Sadyr Japarov — took part in the virtual opening ceremony of the border checkpoint «Tojvaron» — «Karamik» on the state border of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The responsible persons reported to the Presidents of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on the readiness to open these checkpoints.
The Heads of the two states gave permission to open the border crossings.
The ceremony was held with the participation of the leadership and residents of the Lakhsh and Chon-Alai border regions of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
