President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh Explores the History of the Tajik People at the National Museum of Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 24.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of his state visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh today visited the National Museum of Tajikistan.
The President of Mongolia was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dilrabo Mansuri, and other senior officials.
Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh was welcomed by representatives of the National Museum, who conducted a guided tour of the museum’s exhibitions with a high level of professionalism.
It was reported that the National Museum of Tajikistan houses several exhibition halls, including those dedicated to ancient and medieval history, modern and contemporary history, showcasing traditional crafts, clothing, lifestyle, jewelry, ceramics, woodcarving, calligraphy, metalwork, and the country’s achievements during the period of independence — all reflecting the way of life of the Tajik people throughout different historical eras.
On the first floor, the guests explored artifacts dating from the Stone Age to the 8th century, while the second floor covers the Samanid era up to the 20th century.
In the contemporary history section, the delegation viewed exhibits highlighting the accomplishments of the independence era and visited the “Gifts to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan” hall.
At the conclusion of the visit, President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh left a written message in the National Museum’s “Book of Honored Guests,” expressing his impressions of the visit.
