Tajikistan — Korea: friendship for the sake of the future!
DUSHANBE, 14.11.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The film festival “Korea-2017. Friendship for the sake of the future” had been started in Tajikistan. The Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Davlatzoda made a speech at the solemn opening ceremony, which took place in the capital complex “Kokhi Navruz”. He noted that the having of such cultural events become possible thanks to the far-sighted policies of the leaders of both countries — Tajikistan and Korea. NIAT “Khovar” was informed by the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan.
“The main purpose of the Korea Film Festival is, to strengthen friendship between our peoples, strengthen cultural relations, get know the high art of cinema and the formation of the contemporaries’ worldview”, — said Muzaffar Davlatzoda.
Also, he said that the older generation of Tajik and Korean cinematography made a lot of high-profile feature films, as well as noted that Korean cinema has a rich and worthy history. The young generation is continuing it.
In conclusion, the Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude to the Korean Embassy in Tajikistan, particularly to the representative of the Embassy Lee Vuchel for strengthening friendship and establishing relationships for the sake of the prosperity of ancient cultures.
