DUSHANBE, 08.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) –  After the conclusion of the high-level talks between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, a ceremony of signing new cooperation documents was held in the presence and with the participation of the Heads of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon and Honorable Sadyr Japarov.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Honorable Sadyr Japarov, signed a Joint Statement between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.

The following documents were also signed:

— Agreement between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on confidence-building measures;

— Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on the establishment of the Intergovernmental Council of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan;

— Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in the field of geodesy, cartography, land surveying, cadastre, registration of real estate and remote observation of the Earth;

— Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in the field of standardization, metrology, product conformity assessment and accreditation;

— Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in the field of tourism;

— Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in the social sphere;

— Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of civil service between the Public Service Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Agency for Public Service and Local Self-Government under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic;

— Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2026-2027;

— Action Plan between the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in the field of industry for 2025-2026;

— Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development between the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic;

— Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Committee on Television and Radio under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the National Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic;

— Memorandum of Understanding between the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan and the Scientific and Research Institute of Crop Production under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Industrial Processing of the Kyrgyz Republic;

— Agreement on the Establishment of a Business Council between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
