DUSHANBE, 04.08.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 4, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, met with the Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan, Honorable Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow at the airport in the city of Turkmenbashi.
At the beginning of the conversation, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow welcomed the Head of our state, Emomali Rahmon, to the city of Turkmenbashi, wishing him a pleasant stay and a fruitful visit.
Emomali Rahmon expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity to meet and talk with the leadership of friendly Turkmenistan and wished the Turkmen brothers success in the work of the very important international conference.
At the same time, a fruitful discussion was held on a wide range of issues related to friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between the two friendly countries.
Much attention was paid to ways to expand political, trade, economic, and cultural ties.
