DUSHANBE, 05.08.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 5, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon attended the official welcoming ceremony of heads of state and delegations of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which was held with the participation of the Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan, Honorable Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, President of the UN General Assembly Philemon Jan, heads of state and government, and high-ranking delegations.
At the same time, issues related to the problems of landlocked developing countries that do not have access to sea were discussed.
During the speeches and proposals, it was emphasized, among other things, that if beneficial cooperation is established and existing opportunities are effectively and unhinderedly used, these challenges can be turned into opportunities and good capabilities.
