DUSHANBE, 05.08.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – A meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia was held on the sidelines of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in the Avaza region of the city of Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan.
The meeting, which was held with the participation of the Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan and the Heads of State of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, discussed a number of issues related to preparations for the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, which will take place this fall.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was awarded the Order «For Contribution to the Development of Cooperation» by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan.
