Tajikistan, Turkiye plan to Increase number of flights and expand air route network

DUSHANBE, 07.08.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 7, 2025, a meeting was held between the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency of Tajikistan, Khabibullo Nazarzoda, and Kemal Yüksek, Director of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of the Republic of Türkiye, and the management of Turkish Airlines, AnadoluJet, and Pegasus Airlines, reports Civil Aviation Agency of Tajikistan.
During the meeting the officials discussed the opening of flights on the Ankara-Dushanbe, Ankara-Khujand, and Antalya-Dushanbe (during the summer) routes, as well as an increase the number of flights on the Istanbul-Dushanbe route.
Kemal Yüksek expressed his readiness to cooperate in exchange of experience in the field of aviation security, licensing, digitization of processes, and training of personnel for civil aviation.
Confidence was expressed that such meetings will play an important role in the development of civil aviation in both countries.
