DUSHANBE, 30.09.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 30, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated a new building of the Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Fayzobod district.

The main building of the Diagnostic and Treatment Center at the Central Hospital of the district was built on a total area of 3,375 square meters and consists of three floors and 214 rooms for patients with 226 beds.

The center also has admission and diagnostic departments, emergency medical care, surgery, a maternity ward with 5 beds for mothers and children, an intensive care unit for children with 6 beds, for adults with 8 beds, and other auxiliary rooms.

During the inspection of the created conditions, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the quality of the work done, considering the opening of such a modern facility that meets international standards to be a worthy welcome to the great and glorious national holiday — the 35th anniversary of the state independence — a worthy initiative and a role model.

The healthcare facility has 124 modern medical devices and equipment from developed countries of the world, including a modern medical device designed for surgical operations without cutting the body, special beds for patients, video endoscopy equipment, cardiovascular diagnostics, bronchoscope, digital X-ray, video endoscope and mobile video bronchoscope.

The new Diagnostic and Treatment Center employs 30 highly experienced specialists, most of whom are local women and girls.

On other floors of the diagnostic center, departments with treatment beds and necessary services for the effective work of doctors and the use of patients are equipped.

Also, the health facility has a corner of medicinal herbs, where medicinal products are prepared using flowers and herbs of Tajik nature with a national brand of domestic production in dried and powdered forms.

The diagnostic and treatment center has a conference room with 120 seats, and a parking lot has also been built on the territory of the facility.

Doctors and residents expressed gratitude to the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, for his constant care.

With the expansion of modern conditions and a high level of medical services, local residents will be able to undergo diagnostics and treatment within the district without excessive costs.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, upon getting acquainted with the officials, doctors and employees of the district health center, gave specific instructions and recommendations for providing high-quality medical services to residents.
