Today, a telephone conversation was held between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Russian Federation, Honorable Vladimir Putin.

At the beginning of the conversation, Russian President Vladimir Putin sincerely congratulated our Head of State on his birthday and expressed his best wishes.

Expressing gratitude for the warm and sincere congratulations, the Leader of the Nation emphasized that he considered his good wishes to be addressed to all the people of Tajikistan.

Continuing the conversation, the Heads of State expressed their views on the current state and prospects of interstate relations between the two countries, which are based on the principles of strategic partnership and alliance.

The Presidents also exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming high-level meetings and other pressing issues of mutual interest.
