Today, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, received for conversation the personnel who were appointed to the positions of Minister of Economic Development and Trade and heads of diplomatic missions of the Republic of Tajikistan in a number of foreign countries.

By Decrees of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Zavqizoda Zavqi was relieved of his post as Minister of Economic Development and Trade, and Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon, who has sufficient work experience in state bodies, was appointed as Minister of Economic Development and Trade.

Also, by Decrees of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United States of America, the French Republic, the Republic of Austria, the Italian Republic, and with the consent of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Consuls General of the country in a number of regions and cities of the Russian Federation were appointed from among personnel with work experience and meeting modern requirements.

During the conversation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, gave specific instructions to the new leadership of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to improve economic analysis, find new ways and means of progress and development, accelerate the process of digitization and effectively use the capabilities of artificial intelligence. The personnel appointed to management positions in the structures of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were instructed to prioritize the interests of the state and nation, the protection of human rights and freedoms of citizens abroad while performing their official duties. Relevant instructions were also given to develop multifaceted relations with the mentioned countries, including in the field of attracting foreign investment, developing economic, socio-cultural relations.
