President Emomali Rahmon makes personnel appointments

On November 3, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, received for a conversation the personnel proposed for appointment to the positions of the management of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Ministries of Energy and Water Resources, Labor, Migration and Employment, in higher education institutions, and the Communications Service.
At the same time, the heads of several departments of the Prosecutor General’s Office, prosecutors of Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province, Khatlon and Sughd provinces, and prosecutors of the cities and districts of Khorugh, Khuroson, Baljuvon, Shahritus, Zafarobod, Spitamen, Devashtich, Rasht, Fayzobod, and the military prosecutor of the Rasht garrison were appointed from among young and professional personnel with work experience in the authorities.
By the decisions of the Government of the country, the Director of the Agency for Labor and Employment of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment, the Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources, the First Deputy and Deputy Heads of the Communications Service, the Chairman of the State Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan on Mineral Resources, the Rectors of the Tajik-Russian Slavonic University, the Tajik University of Innovation and Digital Technologies, a branch of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, and the Tajik Islamic Institute named after Imam Azam-Abuhanifa Numon Ibni Sobit were appointed from among specialists who meet the requirements of modern times.
Khatlon Regional Prosecutor Nazarzoda Avaz was dismissed from his post and expelled from the Prosecutor’s Office due to non-compliance with regulatory legal acts and committing an act that degrades the dignity and honor of a law enforcement officer.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, during a conversation with the personnel appointed to leading positions in state bodies, emphasized that their main task is, first of all, to ensure the rule of law, security and stability, protect the interests of the state and the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, and train qualified specialists.
It was also emphasized that they should carry out their official duties on the basis of the country’s regulatory legal acts.
