On December 25, after the opening of a number of facilities of various purposes in the city of Bokhtar, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, had a cordial meeting with 100 winners of republican competitions, international and technical olympiads, and orphans from the cities and districts of Khatlon Province and presented them with gifts.

During the conversation, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, stated that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan constantly pays attention to ensuring decent living conditions for orphans, and improving the education and upbringing of students.

As it was reported, this year, in the republican competitions «Book — Dawn of Knowledge», applicants from cities and districts of Khatlon Province took 28 places of honor and 2 grand prizes, «Science — Dawn of Enlightenment» took 20 places, and 800 students also won medals in the schoolchildren’s science olympiads.

At the end of the meeting, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon advised them to gain a good and excellent education, study professions and crafts, modern sciences, and actively participate in republican competitions.
