President Emomali Rahmon participated in commissioning of an educational facility and an industrial enterprise in Levakant and Vakhsh

On December 25, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, after commissioning Secondary Educational Institution No. 17, remotely inaugurated here three educational facilities, a manufacturing enterprise in the industrial zone of the city of Levakant, as well as a dormitory of Vocational and Technical College No. 60 with 450 beds in the Vakhsh district.
The production enterprise, «Khusrav Construction» Limited Liability Company, was built on the initiative of domestic entrepreneur Sunnatullo Gadoev on an area of 3 thousand square meters.
It was informed that the production process is fully implemented using modern technologies, and the production capacity of the enterprise is 60 thousand bricks per day, and the annual production volume reaches more than 22 million pieces. Currently, 20 local residents are employed at the enterprise with permanent jobs, and 20 others are involved in seasonal work.
It is expected that by the international holiday of Navruz, the second stage of the enterprise will be put into operation, and the production of lightweight bricks (aerated concrete blocks) will be launched. With the implementation of this stage, new jobs will be created for 20 more local residents.
Also, an additional educational building for 600 students in two shifts at the Secondary Educational Institution No. 26 in the Jaloliddini Balkhi district, building of Secondary Educational Institution No. 37 in the village of Ganjina, Khuroson district, with 480 seats in two shifts, and a new building of the Secondary Educational Institution in the Kushoniyon district with 480 seats were put into operation.
The dormitory of Vocational and Technical College No. 60 with 450 beds in Vakhsh district was put into operation after the completion of renovation and reconstruction works. This facility consists of two three-story buildings and is equipped with all the necessary conditions for students to live in.
The commissioning of this social facility made it possible to provide students from remote cities and districts of the country with modern sleeping accommodation and appropriate conditions.
During the visit, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, assessed the opening of the new educational buildings as an important step in the development of the education sector and gave specific instructions and assignments to those responsible to create modern training conditions and improve the quality of education.
