Dushanbe to Present “Country of Rare Monuments” Exhibit in Rome

An international exhibition titled “Tajikistan — a Country of Rare Monuments” will be held soon in Rome, Khovar reported, citing the National Museum of Tajikistan.
Preparation for the event was discussed at a meeting between Tajikistan’s ambassador to Italy Jamoliddin Ubaidullo, Director of the National Museum of Tajikistan Zafarsho Ibrohimzoda, and Director of the Museum of Civilizations Luana Toniolo in Rome.
The sides discussed key organizational issues, including selection of exhibition halls, development of the concept and design, transport and insurance of artifacts, preservation of museum objects in line with international standards, technical arrangements, and information and promotional activities in Rome.
They also addressed procedures for the official opening and other logistical details.
Officials described the exhibition as an important cultural event that will showcase Tajikistan’s historical and cultural heritage and help strengthen bilateral cultural cooperation.
