Leader of the Nation’s Strict Instructions to Increase Cement Production

On May 28, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, issued a series of strict instructions to relevant agencies to fully meet the country’s market demand for domestically produced cement.
According to the Head of State’s instructions, over the next two to three years, that is, by 2029, four new cement plants with a total capacity of 6 million tons will be commissioned in various regions of the country.
With this capacity, cement production in Tajikistan will increase by 100%, resulting in a full and surplus supply of high-quality cement at affordable prices for the domestic market.
These plants will create approximately 5,000 new jobs.
