The Days of Culture of the Russian Federation will take place in Tajikistan from May 25 to 29, the country’s Ministry of Culture said, with events planned in the cities of Dushanbe and Khujand.

The official opening ceremony is scheduled for May 26 at 6 p.m. at the Kokhi Borbad State Complex.

The cultural program will offer audiences in Tajikistan an opportunity to experience Russian art and cultural traditions through a series of performances and events organized during the festival.

Officials say the initiative is aimed at further strengthening friendly ties and expanding cultural and creative cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia.
