President Emomali Rahmon Receives Chairman of Qatar Business Association

On June 15, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, received Sheikh Faisal bin Qasim Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Business Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Faisal Holding, at the National Palace.
The meeting focused on issues related to expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation with the Qatar Business Association and the Faisal Holding group of companies.
Particular attention was given to attracting investment for the implementation of major infrastructure and industrial projects in priority sectors of Tajikistan’s economy.
The parties also discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of industry, agriculture, transport, hydropower, finance and banking, as well as education, healthcare, tourism and the development of modern infrastructure.
Both sides agreed to continue joint efforts to make effective use of the existing opportunities in these areas.
