Tajik Agriculture Minister, TIKA President Discuss Expanding Agricultural Cooperation

Tajik Agriculture Minister Qurbon Hakimzoda and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) President Abdullah Eren discussed expanding agricultural cooperation during talks held June 24 in Dushanbe, the ministry’s press center said.
The sides addressed a range of areas for potential collaboration, including seed production, horticulture and beekeeping, as well as the import of cotton and potato seeds.
They also discussed exchanging best practices among farmers and strengthening cooperation with the Tajik Agrarian University and the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan.
Eren expressed interest in further strengthening cooperation across all proposed areas, according to the ministry.
