Tajikistan is studying the advanced experience of regional countries, including Kazakhstan, in using new technologies to develop land reclamation and improve the efficiency of water resource use, Khovar reported, citing the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources.

Energy and Water Resources Minister Daler Juma visited the Turan Su Irrigation System enterprise in Kazakhstan’s Turkestan region, one of the region’s leading manufacturers of modern drip irrigation systems.

Company management briefed the minister on production capacity, technological processes and innovations in manufacturing water-saving irrigation equipment. The enterprise produces polyethylene pipes for irrigation networks, drip irrigation tapes, PVC pipes, fittings and other modern equipment for water-saving irrigation systems.

The company’s products are designed to improve water-use efficiency, reduce losses during irrigation and increase crop productivity.

Juma said studying and adopting Kazakhstan’s advanced experience in using new technologies could contribute to developing Tajikistan’s land reclamation sector and improving the efficiency of water resource use.
