President Emomali Rahmon Arrives in Turkmenbashi for CIS and Central Asia–Azerbaijan Summits

On October 8, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, arrived in the city of Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan, on a working visit.
At Turkmenbashi International Airport, President Emomali Rahmon was warmly and cordially welcomed by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov, and other officials.
In honor of the distinguished guest, the airport grounds were decorated with the national flags, and a guard of honor was lined up.
During the visit, President Emomali Rahmon will participate in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
