President Emomali Rahmon Remotely Inaugurates 10 Educational Facilities in Kulob

On October 5, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, remotely inaugurated 10 educational facilities in the city of Kulob.
Among these, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated the new building for the branch of the State Institution «Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Education Personnel» in the Asadullo Qurbonov neighborhood.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the branch’s new, modern building consists of six stories and a basement and was constructed in accordance with contemporary educational standards. It provides the necessary facilities for conducting theoretical and practical classes, professional development courses, seminars, scientific conferences, and other educational and methodological events.
At the same location, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, also remotely inaugurated General Secondary Education Institution No. 47, located in the village of Guliston within the Zarbdor rural community. The new educational institution was built as part of ongoing development and construction efforts, aiming to create favorable conditions for teaching and learning and to enhance the standard and quality of education. The facility comprises 21 classrooms and subject-specific rooms, designed to accommodate 1,000 students across two shifts.
Additionally, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated General Secondary Education Institution No. 26 in Sari Jar village, located in the Dahana rural community.
Constructed with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, this new educational facility is designed to provide modern learning conditions and increase access to education for children and adolescents.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the institution employs 40 teachers and offers the necessary facilities to accommodate 600 students across two shifts. Subsequently, President Emomali Rahmon inaugurated an additional building for General Secondary Education Institution No. 27 in the village of Fayzobodi Bolo, within the Zarbdor rural community.
The building comprises 10 spacious classrooms and is designed to accommodate 480 students across two shifts.
The opening of this additional building expands the institution’s capacity to enroll students and enables the educational process to be conducted in suitable conditions.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, also inaugurated General Secondary Education Institution No. 33 in the village of Pistamazor, within the Ziraki rural community.
The classrooms were constructed in accordance with modern educational standards and facilitate improved learning conditions and the effective organization of lessons.
The school is designed to accommodate 600 students across two shifts. Here, 22 teachers are engaged in the education and upbringing of the younger generation. His Excellency Emomali Rahmon inaugurated an additional building for General Secondary Education Institution No. 13 in the village of Ziraki (Ziraki Jamoat) via a remote link.
The new educational building comprises 10 classrooms and is designed to accommodate 480 students across two shifts.
Currently, a total of 796 students are enrolled across the existing facility and the new classrooms—operating in two shifts—with 63 teachers responsible for their education and upbringing.
President Emomali Rahmon also remotely inaugurated additional classrooms at General Secondary Education Institution No. 15 in the city of Kulob.
The construction of these additional classrooms was undertaken to create suitable conditions for learning and to expand the institution’s capacity.
The new classrooms were built to meet the institution’s specific needs, facilitating lessons in an appropriate environment, and ensuring the effective use of educational resources.
Twelve teachers are currently engaged in the education and upbringing of students at the institution. Subsequently, the President of the country inaugurated the dormitory for Boarding School No. 1 for orphans in the village of Laghmon, Kulob city, via a remote link.
Construction work on the dormitory for Kulob Boarding School No. 1 began in 2025 through the constructive initiative of Ulmas Mirsaidov, an Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, and with the support of patriotic entrepreneurs Ayubjon Mahmadov and Mirsaid Mirsaidov; the facility was built in compliance with modern architectural standards and infrastructure requirements as part of development efforts leading up to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Leader of the Nation was informed that the new dormitory building is spacious and well-designed, featuring 14 bedrooms, 160 beds, two large halls for games and developmental activities, five offices, and auxiliary areas; favorable living and educational conditions have been created for orphans and children with disabilities, and the facility is equipped with a solar-powered backup electricity system.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated the «Bobuna» Preschool Educational Institution in the village of Zarbdor, within the Zarbdor rural community of Kulob city.
His Excellency Emomali Rahmon was informed that the construction of the «Bobuna» preschool institution began in 2021 and is designed to accommodate 200 children for education and upbringing.
The facility comprises 86 rooms—including administrative offices, classrooms, sleeping quarters, and auxiliary spaces—as well as separate swimming pools for girls and boys. Across ten children’s groups, high-quality programs are implemented to foster skills, quick thinking, alertness, foreign language learning, and the development of other intellectual and cognitive qualities.
The Leader of the Nation inaugurated the «Durakhshon» preschool institution in the Asadullo Qurbonov neighborhood of Kulob city via a remote link. The Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the «Durakhshon» preschool institution is designed to accommodate 300 children and features modern educational and developmental facilities for 15 groups, including a sports hall, a canteen, a medical unit, swimming pools, a modern heating system, a children’s playground, and gazebos.
The commissioning of the «Durakhshon» preschool in the Asadullo Qurbonov neighborhood of Kulob city has provided employment for 120 local residents.
The remote inauguration of ten educational facilities in Kulob was hailed as a valuable gift from the Leader of the Nation to the education community during the celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
