Tajik, Central Asian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Meet in Turkmenistan

On Oct. 7, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin participated in a meeting of foreign ministers from the Central Asian states and Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan’s Avaza National Tourist Zone.
According to Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan, the ministers discussed strengthening political ties and expanding cooperation in trade and the economy, transportation and communications, and cultural and humanitarian affairs.
The ministers also exchanged views on the international agenda.
They agreed on a draft agenda and a list of outcome documents for the upcoming Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
