Tajikistan Prepares to Host Third Central Asia-U.S. B5+1 Business Forum

A preparatory event for the third Central Asia-U.S. B5+1 Business Forum, scheduled to take place in Dushanbe in April 2027, was held Oct. 7 in Washington, D.C.
According to Tajikistan’s State Committee on Investment and State Property Management, the event was attended by Committee Chairman Sulton Rahimzoda, ambassadors from Central Asian countries, representatives of U.S. government agencies and members of the U.S. business community.
In his remarks, Rahimzoda highlighted Tajikistan’s readiness to host the forum and emphasized its importance for strengthening economic and investment cooperation and promoting private-sector development.
The event highlighted priority areas for the Dushanbe forum, including artificial intelligence, information technology, fintech, e-commerce and strategic minerals.
The B5+1 forum in Dushanbe is expected to promote trade, attract investment and strengthen economic ties between Central Asian countries and the United States.
