On November 1, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, officially commissioned the building of the Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Sughd Province and the city of Khujand by unveiling a commemorative plaque on Kamoli Khujandi Street in Khujand.

Construction of the administrative building began in 2025. The facility was built through the constructive initiative of patriotic entrepreneurs and members of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Sughd Province. It features an attractive architectural design, complies with modern architectural requirements, and incorporates traditional national decorative patterns.

President Emomali Rahmon was informed that the new building provides favorable working conditions to improve the efficiency of party employees, strengthen organizational and public outreach activities, and launch new initiatives in working with young people, women, and other segments of society.

The new committee building consists of 47 offices, a museum, a conference hall with 250 seats, roundtable discussion rooms, a library, and an electronic library.

The museum houses materials documenting the declaration of State Independence, the adoption of important historical documents, Tajikistan’s international initiatives, moments from party congresses, achievements in various sectors during the period of independence, the construction of the Rogun Hydropower Plant, and commemorative events honoring Tajikistan’s national heroes. It also contains photographs, documents, and artifacts of historical and national significance. Each of these exhibits reflects the stages of the country’s development, its constructive transformations, and important milestones during the period of independence.

A separate section of the library houses the works of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, as well as more than 5,000 works of fiction, scientific publications, and books covering various fields, available to employees and students.

In addition, the library’s digital collection contains one million copies of literature covering various fields and works of fiction, providing extensive electronic access to its resources.

It was reported that solar panels have been installed in the building to promote the extensive use of renewable energy sources, including solar energy, ensure the efficient use of electricity, and support the development of a green economy.

The installation of the solar panels provides a practical foundation for efficient electricity supply, energy resource conservation, the adoption of modern technologies, the development of clean energy, and the implementation of green economy principles.

The party building also houses a training center designed to provide foreign language instruction to adolescents and young people, young leaders’ courses, and training in the preparation of traditional national dishes and sewing.

During his inspection of the facilities, President Emomali Rahmon expressed his gratitude to the patriotic entrepreneurs and party members for constructing such an attractive and modern facility.

He also called on the employees of the Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Sughd Province and the city of Khujand to safeguard the achievements of independence, expand constructive and development-oriented activities, and promote the country’s strategic goals.
