On November 2, following the commissioning of the private Idrоk Lyceum educational institution in Shahriston District, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, also laid the foundation stones for the construction of a meat and dairy processing plant and a factory for the production of refreshing beverages.

It was reported that the meat and dairy processing plant will create 25 jobs, while the refreshing beverage production factory will provide 15 new jobs.

The purpose of establishing these factories is to develop local industry, process domestic raw materials, increase the production of competitive goods, and supply the population with high-quality products. The creation of new jobs was also considered important for improving the socioeconomic conditions of residents in the district.

It was emphasized that the commissioning of such production facilities will provide a favorable foundation for strengthening the industrial capacity of Shahriston District and creating new economic opportunities. The production of meat, dairy products, and refreshing beverages can help meet domestic market demand and reduce dependence on imported goods.

President Emomali Rahmon instructed the responsible officials to pay special attention to the quality of construction work and ensure that the facilities are completed within the established deadlines.
