Dushanbe, 16.05.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in the framework of his official visit to the State of Kuwait held a sincere and meaningful conversation with faculty and students of the University of Kuwait.

During the meeting the Arabic edition of the fourth volume of the book of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon titled «Tajiks in the Mirror of History» was presented.

It should be noted that this priceless historical book was published on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the State of Kuwait, edited by well-known Arabist Nazrullo Nazarov and in the Arabic translation of Akram Karimov in the publishing house Matobe Al-Ahram Kuwait.

After a friendly meeting of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, in the assembly hall of this higher educational institution Rector of Kuwait University Dr. Hussain Al-Ansari, Dean of the College of Arts Dr. Suad Abdulwahab and Head of Department of History Dr. Hadi Nasser Al-Ajmi told about the support of Islam by the well-known political figure of the world, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in influential international organizations, his worldwide initiatives in the water sector, the translation of the Quran and its presenting to the population, his other efforts to strengthen scientific relations as well as about the historical significance of the book «Tajiks in the Mirror of History» on presentation to the international community of rich culture and ancient history of the Tajik people. The speakers also spoke about the personality of Emomali Rahmon and his achievements in the study of the history of the Tajiks, calling the President of Tajikistan a historian and known researcher.

Also was shown a short film about the world famous culture of Tajiks, Navruz good traditions and the initiatives of Tajikistan on its way to worldwide celebration of Navruz.

Management of the University in recognition of worthy contribution of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the development and expansion of cooperation in the spheres of science and culture between the two countries handed the symbol of Kuwait University, Kuwaiti edition of album of photos and illustrations on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

After the completion of event on the presentation of the book «Tajiks in the Mirror of History» an exhibition of Tajikistan was held at the University.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon cut the ribbon and opened this exhibition.

The delegation accompanying the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Kuwait at the exhibition got familiarized with photographs and illustrations of the unique nature of Tajikistan.

At the exhibition a stand of the books of the President of Tajikistan, photographs and various illustrations that reflect the world-famous history and culture of the Tajiks, as well as fruits, dried fruits, national costumes and instruments was organized for the presentation of our heavenly land.

All guests had good impressions from exploring the landscapes of Tajikistan and from presentation of the book «Tajiks in the Mirror of History».
