Today, a regular meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan, Head of the Government, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.

The meeting initially adopted the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period until 2030.

In connection with the adoption of this important document, President Emomali Rahmon noted in his speech that in order to ensure national priorities, the draft National Development Strategy for the period up to 2030 was developed by the ministries with the participation of experts. It is the second long-term program of development of the country, which takes into account goals, available resources, impact of external factors on the development of the country. National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030 is envisaged for the creation of decent conditions of life for the people in the next 15 years.

Members of the Government also approved and submitted to the Majlisi Oli 5 draft laws, including the Law «On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Public Service», the Law «On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On national security bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan».

In addition, 5 conclusions of the Government of Tajikistan were presented for consideration of the Parliament, including «On the submission of conclusion of the Government of Tajikistan on the draft Law «On amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan».
