Valentina Matviyenko to pay an official visit in Tajikistan
Dushanbe, 12.10.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko today evening will visit Tajikistan on an official visit. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported at the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
“Valentina Matviyenko during her official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan will take part in the opening of the V Inter-Parliamentary Forum “Tajikistan — Russia: Potential of Interregional Cooperation”, which will be held on October 13 in Dushanbe”, — said the statement.
Valentina Matviyenko as a symbol of respect to the history of the statehood of Tajiks will lay a basket of flowers to the monument of Ismoili Somoni in the Memorial Complex “National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan”. Russian Senate Speaker during her official visit to Dushanbe will meet with the Chairman of Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloev and with the Chairman of the Lower House of Parliament of the country Shukurjon Zuhurov. The parties will discuss the issues of bilateral parliamentary cooperation between Tajikistan and the Russian Federation. V. Matviyenko will also visit the local attractions: the Botanical Garden “Iram» and complex “Kokhi Navruz”.
During the official visit of Valentina Matviyenko in Dushanbe there will be held a meeting of parliamentary delegation of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly with the heads of relevant government agencies, heads of regions, cities and districts of the Republic of Tajikistan.
