Newly appointed French Ambassador: “First political consultations between France and Tajikistan to be held on December 8 in Paris”
Dushanbe, 23.11.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. “As the Ambassador of France in Tajikistan, I intend to work on three main directions. First of all, I want to contribute to the strengthening of our political dialogue. For it is impossible to forge a business without political dialogue. In this regard, we intend to boost the economic presence of France in the Republic of Tajikistan”, — said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic in the Republic of Tajikistan Yasmin Gouedard at a press briefing after the presenting credentials ceremony.
“On December 8, in Paris will be held the first political consultations between France and Tajikistan”, — noted the head of the diplomatic mission.
While speaking about the prospects of cooperation, Gouedard noted other important opportunities for collaboration in such areas as water cooperation, hydropower, aeronautics, health and tourism.
In conclusion, the Ambassador of France in Tajikistan Yasmin Gouedard stressed the importance of cultural interaction and cultural exchange.
