Meeting of the Leader of the Nation with Chairman of Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Milan Ştech
Dushanbe, 02.12.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon has also met with Chairman of Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Mr. Milan Ştech in Prague.
President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon stressed that expansion of multilateral cooperation, including development of mutual and priority trade-economic relations with the Czech Republic is considered as one of the main directions of foreign cooperation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It was noted that official visits of both Tajikistan and Czech Republic top leaders to each other’s country, their friendly and constructive talks, as well as documents that were signed during these visits, laid a solid foundation to further development of relations.
The two parties highlighted the inter-parliamentary ties as an effective factor in the development of comprehensive cooperation between the countries. Taking into account the development of society, the implementation of reforms in the legal system and studying the advanced norms of parliamentary system was considered necessary.
During the meeting interlocutors had an exchange of views on the issue of ensuring security and stability in the war-ravaged countries, particularly in neighboring Afghanistan, and elimination of socio-economic backgrounds of political and military situation in this country.
