In the sidelines of the Arab Islamic American Summit in Riyadh, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon held constructive and useful meetings with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, the President Donald Trump of the United States, as well as the heads of other states and governments, including, Nawaz Sharif, the  Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of United Arab Emirates, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Abdul Razak.

During the conversations, which were held in a friendly and confidential atmosphere, the issues of bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and these countries were discussed.

Head of state Emomali Rahmon, expressing his satisfaction with the possibility of meeting with his counterparts, called that these talks provide an impetus for further development of bilateral ties.
