Signing of a number of laws
DUSHANBE, 18.07.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon signed today a number of laws passed by Majlisi namoyandagon (Lower house) and seconded by Majlisi milli (Upper house).
The President, in particular, signed the constitutional laws of the Republic of Tajikistan on making amendments and additions to the constitutional laws of the Republic of Tajikistan «On the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan», » On the Legal Status of a member of Majlisi milli and deputy of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan», «On the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan» as well as the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)» and «On Domestic Tourism».
The signed laws are mainly aimed at strengthening peace and unity, protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, interests of the state, organizations and institutions, combating crime and maintaining public order, socio-economic development, progress and promotion of various spheres of society.
