Telephone conversation with King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud
DUSHANBE, 22.07.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Heads of two friendly states discussed current issues of further developing Tajik-Saudi relations and expressed commitment to further coordinating the efforts of the parties for their further development.
The President of Tajikistan and the King of Saudi Arabia also paid attention to topical issues of the international and regional agenda. In this context, the sides exchanged views on the current situation in the Middle East, in particular touching upon the situation around Persian Gulf.
In this regard the two sides continued their exchange of opinions on topical issues, such as ensuring the security of the entire region and the world,combating terrorism, extremism and other types of cross-border crime.
At the end of the telephone conversation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon invited the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to pay a visit to Tajikistan at his convenience.
The telephone conversation took place in an atmosphere of sincerity, friendship and mutual understanding.
