Telephone conversation with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev
DUSHANBE, 24.07.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The President of our country warmly congratulated the President of friendly Uzbekistan on his 60th birthday.
The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon commended the fruitful activity of Shavkat Mirziyoyev on ensuring the achievement of sustainable socio-economic development of Uzbekistan and strengthening its authority in the international arena.
The parties expressed interest in consistent expansion and improvement of the entire complex of Tajik-Uzbek relations of friendship, good-neighborliness and mutually beneficial cooperation, and expressed hope for joint promotion of this process.
In this context, the two Presidents also expressed their hope for continued joint efforts to further develop the bilateral partnership between the two countries in the mainstream of the fundamental interests of fraternal peoples, whose ties have deep historical roots.
