DUSHANBE, 17.08.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Today, in the continuation of his working trip to the cities and districts of Khatlon region, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with the purpose of familiarization with living conditions of population and activities of dehkan farms, commissioning of a number of various facilities, as well as holding meetings and conversations with the residents visited Jayhun district.

In Jayhun district of Khatlon region, the Head of state at first attended the ceremony of commissioning of a new 220/110/10 kW substation “Geran-2”.

The President of the country Emomali Rahmon continuing his working trip to Jayhun district took part in the ceremony of the commissioning of the new border observation point “Somon”, which is considered subordinate to the Border troop “Panj”.

Leader of the Nation as part of his trip got also acquainted with the activities of enterprises and the course of construction works in the Free Economic Zone /FEZ/ “Panj”. The form of activity of the FEZ “Panj” is complex and commercial, and its total area consists of 401.6 hectares. President Emomali Rahmon laid here 3 more main stones in the construction of three new enterprises — CJSC “Burok”, LLC “Tanus” and LLC “Global”.

The Head of state became familiar with the effective activities of the LLC Agrarian Association “Vodii zarrin”, and had a sincere conversation with its workers and specialists in Jayhun district. President of the country following familiarization with the effective and exemplary activity of LLC Agrarian Association “Vodii zarrin” visited the exhibition of labor achievements of enterprises for cotton ginning, rice processing, agricultural and industrial products.

Then, the activity of various sectors of the national economy of the Jaihun district for 25 years of independence was summarized by Leader of the Nation at the meeting with activists and residents of the district, as well as employees of the company.

On the same day, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon as part of his working trip to the cities and districts of Khatlon region also visited Dusti district. In Rohi nav village of this district, President of the country launched the functioning of the secondary general education institution №16 for 560 pupils in one shift. After launching ceremony on the area of the school the Head of state held a sincere and constructive meeting with residents of the Dusti district and in his speech deeply analyzed yesterday’s and today’s state of the given district, made well-founded proposals and recommendations aimed at its further prosperity.

During his working trip to Dusti district, President Emomali Rahmon got also acquainted with the activity of dehkan farm “Bahor-1” in Jilikul village and attended the exhibition of agricultural products.

At the end of his tour to this district, the Leader of the Nation in a solemn ceremony commissioned a new building of the Youth Center.
