Mexico will open its Honorary Consulate General in Tajikistan in the near future
DUSHANBE, 21.11.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The United Mexican States will open its Honorary Consulate General in the Republic of Tajikistan in the near future. It was said on November 20th by the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Republic of Tajikistan Jose Alfonso Zegbe Kamarena following the presenting of Credentials to the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Mr. Emomali Rahmon.
According to Mexican diplomacy, one of the important mission and key tasks of his office, first of all, is to seek greater commitment and efforts to promote dialogue between two countries, agitation of Mexican culture and promotion of the further development of trade relations between the countries. He also called on the competent authorities of Tajikistan to work on the launch of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Tajikistan in Mexico.
Also, Jose Alonso Zegbe Kamarena noted that the United Mexican States and the Republic of Tajikistan have great potential for further co-operation in the field of climate change, water, sustainable development and migration regulation.
“The creating inter-parliamentary groups between the two countries, technical, economic and trade cooperation, establishing an exchange of experience in higher education institutions, environmental regulation, water resources and attracting more tourists create a favorable condition for the development of bilateral relations”, — he has concluded.
It should be noted that yesterday, November 20th along with Mexican ambassador 7 other newly-appointed ambassadors of Argentina, Canada, Chile, Germany, Belgium, Romania, and Estonia presented their credentials to the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon.
