DUSHANBE, 10.03.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Today, the Chairman of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Shukurjon Zuhurov met with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is in Tajikistan on a state visit. During the constructive talk, both parties expressed their stable interest in more expansion of friendly relations and multilateral cooperation.

At the meeting it was expressed satisfaction over more development and expansion of interstate relations. Also, it was stressed that the regular top level political dialogues are the basis for strengthening relations and cooperation between the two friendly countries in all directions and spheres.

The Chairman of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Shukurjon Zuhurov expressed that “Your state visit, Shavkat Mirziyoev, to the Republic of Tajikistan is indeed a very important event for both Tajikistan and Uzbekistan”.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in turn, noted that “our friendly relations have roots in the hearts of the peoples of both countries. Therefore, our political and human task is to comprehensively strengthen and expand such relationships”.

Also, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev expressed satisfaction over the expansion of mutually beneficial relations and cooperation between the two countries, as well as the high level of trust and good intention in the top level political dialogue.

The two parties have also expressed satisfaction over the level of bilateral cooperation on various bases, and at the same time stressed the need to more expand the inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries.
