Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan visited Tashkent
DUSHANBE, 17.04.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On April 16, at the invitation of the Chairman of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan /SSS RU/ Ikhtiyor Abdullayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan Saymumin Yatimov paid a working visit to Tashkent.
Directly, on the State border of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Republic of Uzbekistan in the area of “Fotehobod” checkpoint, S. Yatimov and the delegation led by him was personally met by the Chairman of the SSS RU I. Abdullayev.
The delegation of the Tajik side was given a warm welcome.
During the talks the heads of special services of the two fraternal states had an exchange of views on a wide range of issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as on regional security issues.
It was considered joint measures to counter modern challenges and threats, combat terrorism and extremism, in particular, to suppress the criminal activities of terrorist and extremist organizations and movements.
The parties agreed to coordinate actions and implement agreed measures in this direction.
