Qohir Rasulzoda: “CIS Heads of Government Council meeting was held in the spirit of mutual understanding, trust and constructive dialogue”
DUSHANBE, 01.06.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. “The current meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government was held in the spirit of mutual understanding, trust and constructive dialogue”, — stated Prime Minister of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda at a press conference following the meeting.
According to him, a wide range of issues in various areas of multilateral interaction of the states-participants was considered.
“The decisions made today with their practical implementation will give an additional impetus to our multilateral cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth”, — Qohir Rasulzoda emphasized.
During the meeting, the Heads of Government noted that the development of our countries is associated with many factors that are taking place in the modern world, which to some extent affect the pace and nature of socio-economic development, the stability and security of our countries.
“In this context, the strengthening of cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth could help to minimize the impact of some global processes”, — Prime Minister of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda noted.
According to the Prime Minister of the country, Tajikistan signed the decisions of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth on all issues on the agenda.
Qohir Rasulzoda particularly noted the approval of the Concept of cooperation in the field of innovative development of power engineering and development of advanced energy technologies, as well as a priority action plan to implement it.
“Agreements were signed on the formation and development of the intellectual property market, on cooperation in the field of waste management of electronic and electrical equipment”, — Tajik Prime Minister mentioned.
He stressed that one of the most interesting issues discussed today is the youth project “100 Ideas for the CIS”, the provision of which was approved during the meeting.
“Tajikistan is interested in further strengthening of multifaceted cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth”, — Qohir Rasulzoda added.
The next meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States is scheduled to be held in autumn 2018 in Astana.
