Ambassador of Tajikistan attended the All-Russian Water Congress
DUSHANBE, 07.06.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation Imomuddin Sattorov attended and made speech at the II All-Russian Water Congress, MFA Information Department reports.
Russian President’s Special Representative for Environmental Protection, Ecology and Transport Sergey Ivanov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Nikolai Fyodorov, Executive Director of the Russian Association of Water Supply and Sanitation Elena Dovlatova and other high-ranking officials made speeches at the congress official opening ceremony.
Ambassador of Tajikistan I. Sattorov in his speech drew the attention of participants to the international initiatives of Tajikistan as a country with the best experience in the water sector, as well as informed about preparations for the upcoming International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028 and about main goals and objectives of its holding.
The congress was attended by deputies of the State Duma, members of the Federation Council, representatives of ministries, departments, sectoral institutions and organizations of the Russian Federation.
