Youth of the SCO and CIS member states to take part in a scientific conference in Sughd province of Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 28.08.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The scientific conference “Tajikistan and Silk Road: History and Modernity” will be held on August 30 in Khujand city, Sughd province of Tajikistan.
As NIAT “Khovar” was informed by the Executive body of state authority of the Sughd province, the event will be attended by participants of the International Festival of Youth and Students of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Commonwealth of Independent States. They will also take part in the planned cultural program.
The program includes visits to such sights of Sughd province as cultural and architectural complex “Qalai Mugh” /Mugh Fortress/, Palace “Arbob”, cultural and historical complexes “Istiqlol” /Independence/ and “Qalai Khujand” /Khujand Fortress/, the complex “Oshi Palav”.
“As part of the cultural program, it is planned to hold the International Youth Festival “Voice of Friendship” that will serve as a favorable platform for dialogue and exchange of experience of the youth of the SCO and CIS countries”, — the source noted.
