DUSHANBE, 27.09.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/.  The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Tursunzoda city and became familiar with the process of aluminum production of the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajik Aluminum Company” (TALCO).

In the course of acquaintance, it was noted that TALCO is one of the largest aluminum producers today and represents the most developing company in the country for many years that meets the requirements of modern management and international financial reporting regulations, which embodies the economic reform in Tajikistan.

The Heads of States were informed that more than 13 thousand people are provided with jobs and decent salaries at present in the companies and enterprises of «Talco Group», the produced products meet all international standards and have a large number of buyers on the international market.

It was stressed that SUE “TALCO” introduced modern technologies in the production of products and strengthened cooperation with the world’s largest companies.

Satisfaction was expressed that the SUE «TALCO» has established expanded cooperation with the largest manufacturing enterprises of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the last two years, based on the far-sighted policy of the Heads of the two friendly neighboring states.

In particular, this year during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Republic of Uzbekistan the SUE «TALCO» signed an agreement on cooperation with the production enterprises of the neighboring country, on the basis of which 10,000 tons of aluminum are sent annually to the production enterprises of the neighboring state.

After getting acquainted with the process of aluminum production, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev put into operation the first stage of the joint venture of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan — Limited Liability Company TALCO-KRANTAS.

The joint venture was created by the direct initiative of the Heads of States of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan by the State Unitary Enterprise «TALCO” and Limited Liability Company «Krantas Group», which mainly assembles and mounts special communal and construction transports.

It was noted that the joint venture will be assembling and setting up 12 types of cranes and special trucks, after commissioning of the second stage, 40 types of special communal and construction transports will be assembled and adjusted. Also, the responsible persons are planning to produce spare parts of transports in the future.

While commissioning the joint venture, the Heads of States Emomali Rahmon and Shavkat Mirziyoyev appreciated it as a lasting step towards strengthening bilateral industrial relations between the two friendly and neighboring states.

Currently, more than 100 local residents are provided with permanent jobs and decent wages at the joint venture, short-term training courses for specialists of the industry were organized by Uzbek Company.
