President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the Chairman of the Tajikistan-Japan Parliamentary Friendship League Keiji Furuya
DUSHANBE, 05.10.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On October 5 in the capital of Japan — Tokyo, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a meeting with the Chairman of the Tajikistan-Japan Parliamentary Friendship League Keiji Furuya.
The two sides discussed topical aspects on the inter-parliamentary cooperation agenda.
The President of our country Emomali Rakhmon highly appreciated the significant contribution of the Tajikistan — Japan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship League on development and expansion of relations between legislative bodies and the strengthening of other areas of bilateral cooperation.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the expansion of current status of Inter-Parliamentary Friendship League.
The two sides expressed happiness over the good relations between Tajikistan and Japan as well as the impressive strides which have been taken since the visits of the head of states to both countries.
While discussing future inter-parliamentary ties, the sides certainly noted that Tajikistan-Japan Parliamentary Friendship League will continue to make a worthy contribution to strengthening the legal bases for the benefit of both countries.
Other issues being of mutual interest were also discussed.
