Leader of the Nation made appointments to Interior Ministry’s departments and subunits
DUSHANBE, 03.12.2018 / NIAT “Khovar”/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a meeting with senior officials to announce his decision to appoint them to senior positions in departments and subunits of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
The President of Tajikistan signed orders relieving the heads of departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of their positions in twenty-three cities and districts of the country.
Additionally, the heads of departments of the MIA were appointed in the city of Norak, in the districts of Kushoniyon, Dusti, Shamsiddin Shohin, Danghara, Panj, Vose and Muminobod in the Khatlon Province.
The heads of departments of the MIA were replaced in the cities of Khujand, Isfara, Konibodom and Istaravshan, as well as districts of Shahriston, Kuhistoni Mastchoh, Ayni and Devashtich in the Sughd Province.
Heads of departments of the MIA in the cities of Tursunzoda,Vahdat and the district of Shahrinav, the head of the MIA department 1 in Dushanbe’s Sino district, the head of the State Police College of the MIA in the city of Kulob, as well as the head of the police station at the Dushanbe Airport were relieved of their position.
In the course of the conversation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon stressed the need for the new officials to work conscientiously and make contributions to safeguard the rule of law, to ensure peace and stability, protect the rights and freedoms of citizens, and to facilitate advancements.
The Leader of the Nation paid special attention to the matters of the struggle against extremism, countering transnational organized crime and illicit drug trafficking.
