President Emomali Rahmon made personnel changes
DUSHANBE, 19.07.2019. (NIAT Khovar) –The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the officials newly appointed to leadership positions in the Law Enforcement Agencies and the Security Forces.
The current situation in the world requires every rank-and-file employee and law enforcement agency heads to take a serious stance within the framework of charters and other regulatory documents and norms, said President Emomali Rahmon.
Commanders and brigade commanders of the National Guard, as well as the first deputy and deputy director of the Agency for the State Financial Control and Combating Corruption have been appointed by presidential Executive Orders.
The deputy director of the Special Property Maintenance Agency, the first deputy and deputy director of the Agency for Social Insurance and Pensions and the deputy director of the Agency on Standardization, metrology, certification and trade inspection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan have been appointed by government decrees.
Personnel changes have also been made in the Correctional Institutions of the Main Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Penalties of the Ministry of Justice of Tajikistan.
After analyzing the current state and problems in the activities of the leadership and employees of the security forces, President Emomali Rahmon has set specific tasks for the timely elimination of existing shortcomings.
He also noted the importance of transparency in the work of the military and public servant personnel and noted that the activities of the said departments rely on the work of each employee and should be completed within the framework of existing laws coupled with a sense of personal responsibility.
