Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee Rahmon Ozoda Appointed as Women Political Leaders Ambassador for Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 23.08.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Women Political Leaders Global Forum (WPL) has approved the proposal of the Council of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan to appoint the Chairman of the Committee of the National Assembly on Ensuring the Constitutional Foundations, the Human and Civil Rights and Freedoms and Legitimacy Rahmon Ozoda Emomali as WPL’s Ambassador for Tajikistan.
WPL with its Certificate officially confirmed that this role, for the first time in Tajikistan, has been bestowed upon Honourable Rahmon Ozoda due to her outstanding service as Parliamentarian and her continued commitment to the aims and objectives of WPL, reported the National Assembly of Tajikistan.
The rich experience of Rahmon Ozoda Emomali in responsible state positions and her commitment will be valuable in the development of WPL’s goals.

WPL is an independent, international and non-partisan foundation, with headquarters in Iceland. WPL is the only organisation which brings together all female political leaders at a global level and seeks to tackle international challenges by harnessing their collective power and influence.
The recognition of Tajik woman politician by the WPL is a new phenomenon in the history of independent Tajikistan and shows that the policy of increasing the status of women in society, which is implemented by the political leadership of the state of Tajikistan in the international arena, brings positive results.
